We all remember Mary-Kate Olsen, one of the Olsen twins who played Michelle Tanner on Full House. Many of us remember watching her grow up and blossom into the beautiful young woman she is today.
That's why it is a little shocking to see her with Olivier Sarkozy, a man 17 years her senior (some of that might be the height difference). The couple married in 2015 and, according to friends and family, have never been happier. Good for them.
George Clooney and Amal Clooney (17 Years)
While George Clooney's rugged good looks are seemingly ageless, the man is, in fact, getting older. In 2014, the world's "Handsomest Man Alive" married a Lebanese lawyer named Amal Lamuddin, and hearts broke around the world.
While many assumed a previously unknown Amal married Clooney for his fame and fortune, the truth is that Amal was well-off long before marrying Clooney. Others say he only married her for her youth because of the 17-year age gap between them. We don't buy it. Amal was 35 when she married Georgey-Boy, and 17 years isn't that dramatic when you're approaching middle age.
Tom Kaulitz and Heidi Klum (17 Years)
Before you go and think that we're only highlighting famous couples where the men are older, think again. Heidi Klum is the first woman on our list to bag herself a younger man (don't worry, there's a lot more) when she married her husband, Tom Kaulitz, a man 17 years her junior.
The two bonded over their shared nationality (both are German) and got married in 2018. When asked about the relationship in an interview, Klum states that she and Tom choose to "live a happy life without worrying about what people think."
Dominic Purcell and AnnaLynne McCord (17 Years)
Dominic Purcell and AnnaLynne McCord shocked the media when they went public about their relationship. The 17-year age gap made headlines in the tabloids (mostly because it seems like an odd match).
The couple dated for three years before breaking up back in 2014. However, after a short time apart, the two reconciled and now seem happier than ever. In fact, McCord says, “I’m very happy, I have my best friend back, so it’s cool.”
Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld (17 Years)
Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld met in the late '90s and married in 1999. Skeptics doubted the romance would last because they had only dated a year and because Jessica was 17 years younger than Jerry.

Robin Thicke and April Love Geary (18 Years)
The famous singer and well-known model began dating only a few months after Robin separated from his ex-wife, Paula Patton, in 2015. However, the couple didn't go public about their relationship until the divorce was final, and unfortunately, they endured a lot of scrutiny for their 18-year age gap when they did.
In 2017, April took to social media to defend their relationship, posting, "We're out here LIVING while most of y'all are still bothered by an age gap." While the age gap seems to bother others, the couple is happily married (since 2018) and have three beautiful children together.
Christian Slater and Brittany Lopez (18 Years)
Christian Slater and his wife, Brittany Lopez, met in Florida’s Little Palm Island and eloped in a Miami Courthouse in 2013. The couple had dated for three years, but the media had a hay day making it sound like they had only just met.
The 18-year age gap didn't help the rumors that Brittany was being opportunistic. Christian reportedly says (about the age gap), "In fairness, she is more mature than me." The happy couple will be celebrating a decade together next year, so they must be doing something right.

This romance began with the couple secretly dating while Lauren was still married to her first husband. Although, the affair wasn't the only controversy in this talent show judge's relationship. Their 18-year age gap also made headlines, especially when they announced that they were also expecting a child.
Talk about a sour note. Not only did Lauren cheat on her husband to be with Simon, but they only went public because she was pregnant with Simon's baby (effectively ending her marriage). Sounds more like the star of a soap opera, not a talent show.

When Zach Braff met the young Little Women actress, they reportedly started dating in April 2019, and the media made a huge deal over their 20-year age gap. They were photographed in New York City holding hands, and paparazzi demanded answers.
The age difference was originally why the couple attempted to keep their relationship under wraps. The many comments they received (and still do) regarding their age difference upset Florence to the point of her taking to social media every time. The young actress always defends her love, saying, "Age ain’t nothing but a number."
Josh and Kathryn Brolin (20 Years)
Josh Brolin and his wife Kathryn may have a 20-year age gap, but the duo is clearly in love and love to gush about their relationship on social media. After a long trip, Kathryn took to social media and wrote, "Back home with my love. Dogtown coffee, PCH drive, oasis sleep. Not even 24 hours back and already had 10,000 smiles.”
The couple has been married since 2016, but it is rumored the two were friends (and possibly more) when Josh was still together with Diane Lane. Although, the couple has never responded to those claims.

This couple may have a 21-year age gap, but the fact that their marriage has lasted over 30 years proves that sometimes, age really is just a number. Annette has said in interviews regarding the age gap, "You know, you'd think after three decades people would be used to Warren's age by now."
Warren pointed out in that interview how she had only mentioned his age. Annette responded, "Because no one seems to care about your age." It seems that people are more obsessed with how young the woman is and not how old the man is in these situations, and she's been fielding these questions for 30 years. We hear you, Annette.

The age difference of this famous couple isn't the only thing making headlines regarding age. There is a more than 22-year age gap between Steve and Anne, but another shocker came when the couple announced that they were having a baby after five years of marriage.
That was shocking because Steve was 67 years old, and the couple's daughter made them each a parent for the first time. That's right, Steve became a dad just shy of turning 70.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone (22 Years)
Leonardo DiCaprio has always been known for being a bit of a playboy and a "modelizer" - meaning he exclusively dates models, all of whom were under 25 years old. No one thought much of it when the paparazzi snapped shots of him and Camila together. Model, check. Under 25, check.
However, the couple is celebrating five years together this year, and the media are trolling over when the two will get married. Leo isn't known for his relationship longevity, so five years does seem like a while. Seems their 22-year age gap doesn't phase them.
On a side note, everyone gives Leo such a hard time for dating younger women. Being someone who grew up in Hollywood (a trauma that can stunt a person's mental growth), maybe Leo isn't mature enough to date women his age?

When you see Harrison Ford with his long-time love, Calista Flockhart, the love they share cannot go unnoticed. The couple has been together since 2002 after meeting at the Golden Globes.
In 2010, the couple married and, despite the 22-year age gap, have kept their relationship out of the tabloids over the years. One secret to their relationship's success is that they don't talk about their relationship publically... at all.
John Stamos and Caitlin McHugh (22 Years)
Another well-known ladies' man is John Stamos, who has had several (very public) relationships throughout his life. While he wasn't always partial to younger women like Leo seems to be, it didn't shock anyone when he announced his relationship with actress Caitlin McHugh.
The two met on the set of Law and Order: SVU and had immediate chemistry, according to co-stars. In 2018, the couple announced the birth of their son Billy to fans via social media, where John posted, "...from now on, the best part of me will always be my wife and my son.”
Matt Rife and Kate Beckinsale (22 Years)
In another turn of events, we have an older Kate Beckinsale with her arms around her latest squeeze, model and comedian Matt Rife. The couple began dating shortly after Kate ended her 12-year marriage with her husband, director Len Wiseman.
At literally half her age, Matt is 22 years younger than Kate, and Kate is nearly the same age as Matt's mom (older by two years, actually). Kate's daughter is only two years younger than Matt, but still, the couple seems happy, despite the age gap. (Just look at those faces. Those two are definitely in love.)
Sam and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (23 Years)
I love when the romances are flipped, and the women are older! We probably could have added more to the list, but sadly, they are not as common. Yet, here we have Sam and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (or Aaron and Sam Taylor-Johnson - we're not sure what's socially correct here).
Anyway, there is a 23-year age gap between Aaron and Sam. They met when Sam directed a bio-pic about John Lennon in 2009 (she was 42). Aaron played a role in the film (he was 19), and the two "immediately fell madly in love," according to Aaron's social media posts.
Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin (23 Years)
Another couple punching their way onto the list is Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin, who have a more than 23-year age gap. The couple met in the early '90s when Jennifer was only 19 (Sly was 42) and dated for six years before calling it quits.
However, Sly was in love and wouldn't let his woman leave without a fight (metaphorically speaking). After some convincing, she returned, and the couple married in 1997. They have been happily married ever since. Another relationship success story! Keep fighting for love, Rocky.
Bruce and Emma Willis (23 Years)
We all remember the Bruce Willis/Demi Moore years, and it was bittersweet for us all when they announced their split. Both went on to marry again, ironically both to younger people (we also all remember the Demi Moore/Ashton Kutcher years). While Demi's second marriage didn't last, Bruce's marriage certainly has despite a 23-year age gap.
In 2007, Bruce met Emma at the gym, and Bruce says it was love at first sight (for him anyway). Emma admits she was smitten with the actor but "didn't think she stood a chance with him." The couple married after two years of dating and now have two children together. Good for them!
Tommy Lee and Brittany Furlan (24 Years)
Tommy Lee's love life has always made headlines (especially when he was with Pamela Anderson), but today, this Mötley Crüe alum is getting trolled about his relationship for an unexpected reason, the 24-year age gap. I mean, are we surprised a rock star is dating a young groupie?
In fairness, Brittany isn't actually a groupie. In fact, Tommy began following Brittany on social media, in 2016, and the two met in real life a year later. The pair married on Valentine's Day, 2018, and say they have been in love every day since the day they met. How sweet!
Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble (24 Years)
After the very public divorce of this Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, her love life never stopped making headlines. Not long after divorcing Caitlyn Jenner, Kris met Corey (most of their relationship has been documented by the show), and the media went crazy.
The 24-year age gap between Kris and Corey caused her children to question her sanity and Corey's intentions with their mother. Again, you can see it all on the show, but one thing we will say, they've been able to make it work for more than five years.
Kelsey Grammer and Kayte Walsh (25 Years)
Kelsey Grammer made a name for himself with his first television role as Dr. Frasier Crane on Cheers which earned him a spin-off series of his own called Frasier. Some of you might know his first wife, Camille Grammer, from her appearance on The Real Housewives series.
And anyone who reads (or watches) the Daily Mail knows his current wife and former mistress, Kayte Walsh, a woman 25 years younger than Kelsey. The couple married in 2011, and we wonder if Kelsey will stay faithful this time after 13 years of marriage.
Emmanuel Macron and Brigitte Trogneux (25 Years)
We've got another! Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, is 25 years younger than his wife, Brigitte Trogneux. In 2017, when Emmanuel won the election, the only real controversy in his life was the age gap between him and his wife.
Age wasn't the only issue, however. Brigitte met Emmanual when he was only 15 and a high school student at the school where she taught. She had even instructed him in one of his classes. The two reunited as adults and are happily married, but they still face the scrutiny of their love.
Rupert Murdoch and Jerry Hall (25 Years)
Some of us remember when Jerry Hall was so in love with Mick Jagger that you rarely saw her in public without him. Their public split was tough on her, and her friends worried she wouldn't find love again.

In an interview, Catherine said that she didn't think of Michael as anything more than a friend at first due to the age difference. She looked to him for professional advice and shared her woes, and, as their friendship grew, she asked herself, "Why are we not together?" Here we are 22 years later, and the two still seem very happy.
Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster (26 Years)
In another relationship cliche, rock star Rod Stewart married his much younger wife, Penny Lancaster. There is a 26-year age gap between them, but, in fairness to Penny, it isn't like she's some young groupie going ga ga over a rock star.
Penny was 36 when the couple got married (Rod was 62), not exactly too young to know better. The relationship seems to be a happy one. The two met and married in 2007 and even renewed their wedding vows ten years later.
Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas (26 Years)
Alec Baldwin has taken some hits in the media lately for a tragedy that happened while filming (we're not here to cover that). However, in 2012, the former 30-Rock actor made headlines for marrying his now-wife, Hilaria Thomas, because of their 26-year age gap.
This yoga social media influencer turned Baldwin caught some flack on her socials for their relationship, but she was quick to tout back to one of her young trollers, "I guess it's good you're not married to him then."
Dane Cook and Kelsi Taylor (27 years)
One relationship that has made headlines most recently is Dane Cook and his "long-time" girlfriend, Kelsi Taylor, after he proposed in a public way. The way he proposed wasn't what made headlines.

David Hasselhoff and Hayley Roberts (28 Years)
David Hasselhoff is no stranger to media scrutiny over his relationships. After two very public divorces, many thought The Hoff would choose to stay single forever, but that wasn't in the stars for this former Baywatch lead.
In 2016, he announced his engagement to Hayley Roberts, someone 28 years his junior. Since his wives were relatively close to his age, some marriage experts speculate that perhaps the age gap between The Hoff and Hayley might stand a chance of lasting.

This couple is our favorite, and for two reasons. One, this romance involves an age gap of more than 32 years, and two, it's between two of our favorite actresses!

Richard Gere and Alejandra Silva (33 Years)

Canadian musician, composer, and record producer, David Foster proved that age really is just a number when he married his wife, Katherine McPhee, a woman literally half his age! The couple tried to be coy about the relationship but finally went public in 2018.
